Geneva – a Member of the Pittsburgh Promise Preferred College Partners Program
The Pittsburgh Promise is an innovative scholarship program for graduates of Pittsburgh Public Schools and is designed to promote college enrollment and relieve financial burdens associated with it for Promise Scholars.
Geneva is pleased to be a Preferred College Partner of The Pittsburgh Promise by providing robust support services to Pittsburgh Promise Scholars who meet standard admission requirements:
Financial Aid for Housing (Beginning Fall 2023)
Geneva provides Promise recipients a room and board grant in the amount of $3,000 for a maximum of four consecutive years. This grant will be applied directly to room & board charges and is additional to all other academic scholarships and grants.
Only residential students (those living on campus) are eligible to receive the room & board grant.
Student Support
One-on-one academic coaching
Peer tutoring by trained tutors available for most undergraduate courses
Study Skills Assessment, a web-based program to determine study skills strengths and weaknesses
A writing center, provided by the English department, where tutors assist students
Academic accommodations for students with disabilities
